About the Course
A foundational course for anyone interested in learning the basics of physical computing. Using the BBC micro:bit, a credit card sized micro-controller you will learn how to program it to act like a central brain in various projects. The BBC micro:bit has various onboard sensors and output devices and can be powered using a micro USB cable connected to a laptop or PC. In this course you will be using the Microsoft Makecode block based programming platform to create code. After you create the code, you can upload it to the microbit and see how it functions. This course consists of 5 units and 10 fun projects. You will need the Edusharks Microbit foundations kit to complete the course. On successful completion, you will receive a Foundation Level Completion Certificate.
