Micro:bit Level 2
₹10,999.00
Excluding Taxes
In this advanced course, students in grades 3-9 will build on their knowledge from Microbit Level 1 to explore the world of sensors, actuators, and expansion boards. Students will learn how to integrate additional components into their projects, creating interactive systems that respond to real-world inputs.
Course Overview
This course takes students beyond the basics, diving into how to extend the capabilities of the BBC Microbit using sensors and actuators. Students will learn how to use additional hardware like temperature sensors, light sensors, motors, and expansion boards to create more complex projects. They will continue to program with MakeCode blocks but will focus on building interactive systems that can respond to their environment, from controlling motors to sensing temperature changes.
Learning Outcomes
- Integrate sensors and actuators into projects using the Microbit.
- Learn how to control motors, LEDs, and other devices via expansion boards.
- Program interactions with real-world data (e.g., light, sound, temperature).
- Understand how to use data from sensors to influence the behavior of the program.
- Build more complex projects, such as automated systems and sensor-based games.
Course Requirements
- Completion of Microbit Level 1 or prior experience with Microbit and MakeCode blocks.
- A BBC Microbit, sensors, actuators, and expansion boards (provided in class).
- A computer with internet access to use MakeCode blocks.
Course Highlights
